Team India arrived on Sri Lanka tour, when is the first match, note down the full program


New Delhi. The Indian cricket team has reached Sri Lanka to play T20 and ODI series. Team India’s stalwarts reached Colombo on Monday with new coach Gautam Gambhir. India will play three T20 and ODI series of the same number of matches here. Suryakumar Yadav will captain the T20 team while Rohit Sharma will lead the team in ODIs. These matches will be played between 27 July and 7 August.

The Sri Lanka tour is the beginning of a new era for the Indian team. After the ICC T20 World Cup, Rahul Dravid’s tenure as coach with Team India ended. Gautam Gambhir was appointed as the new head coach of the team by the BCCI. This veteran has arrived on his first foreign tour. Gambhir has arrived on the Sri Lanka tour with a plan to start with a win with Team India. The first change has been made as the T20 captain. Suryakumar Yadav was given the command of the team in place of Hardik Pandya. Shubman Gill was made the vice-captain.

India’s Sri Lanka tour schedule
The Indian team will start the Sri Lanka tour with a 3-match T20 series. The first match will be played on 27th while the next day on 28th July both the teams will face each other in the second match. The third match is to be played on 30th July. All three T20 matches will be played in Pallekele from 7 pm. The ODI series will start on 2 August. The second ODI match will be played on 4 August while the last match is to be held on 7 August. All the ODI matches will be played in Colombo from 2.30 pm.
