Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have not left with the team yet. New T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav was seen with former captain Hardik Pandya in Mumbai. The Indian team will leave for Kandy from Colombo.
Team India’s new coach Gautam Gambhir has arrived on his first foreign tour. The Indian team left for Sri Lanka from Mumbai on Monday, July 22. India has to play 3 T20 and the same number of ODI matches. After Rohit Sharma said goodbye to this format after the T20 World Cup, Hardik Pandya was considered a contender for captaincy but the selectors decided to give the responsibility to Suryakumar Yadav.
