New Delhi. The Indian team is fully prepared to leave for the Sri Lanka tour. Team India will make its first foreign tour with new coach Gautam Gambhir. According to the information, T20 team captain Suryakumar Yadav, coach and other players can leave for the tour on July 22. ODI captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are reported to join the team later. New coach Gautam Gambhir can hold a press conference with chief selector Ajit Agarkar.

After winning the ICC T20 World Cup, Team India played under the coaching of NCA chief VVS Laxman on the Zimbabwe tour. After Rahul Dravid’s contract ended, Gautam Gambhir has now been given the responsibility of the head coach of the Indian team. According to ESPN Cricinfo’s report, former Indian cricketer and KKR assistant coach Abhishek Nair can join as a batting coach on the Sri Lanka tour. At the same time, former Netherlands all-rounder Ryan Ten Doeschate can be made the assistant coach of the team.

Gautam Gambhir’s choice for bowling coach is former South African fast bowler Morne Morkel. However, nothing is clear about his name yet, so Sairaj Bahutule, who has been working with the National Cricket Academy for a long time, can be given the responsibility of bowling coach.
