UPI has already revolutionized the payment space in India. With the advent of UPI, not only has the life of the people become easier but the hassle of keeping cash has also ended. Today, whether in the shopping mall or the vegetable shop of the locality, you can pay in a few minutes by simply scanning a code. But you will be surprised to know that now you will not even need to scan the code, but the payment will be done just by speaking (ie with your voice). Not surprised but it is true. Let us explain everything in detail…
Actually, now payment can be done through voice. The giant tech company Google is trying to reduce the steps of payment. Google has introduced a new payment process for select parking areas.
These two techniques will work together
Last week, Google announced several new features related to messaging and entertainment. There was also a small update in that list regarding payments. Google Pay and Google Assistant can now work together to allow you to pay for parking with your voice. This new feature will not only allow you to check parking status but also extend your parking.

How will the new feature work?
For this, the user just needs to say “Hey Google, pay for parking” (“Hey Google, pay for parking”) after parking. Users can then follow Google Assistant’s prompts to make a payment from their smartphone. And when the user needs to check their parking status or pay for more parking, they can simply say “Hey Google, parking status” and “Hey Google, extend parking”.

Will this work in India also?
For the time being, this new feature is limited to the United States, exclusively to the Parkmobile Street Parking Zone. Google claims that it is available in over 400 cities in the US. Google has a tremendous reach and the company can partner with more parking services. Currently, there is no dearth of easy payment options in India. Many service providers like Park+ will also allow users to pay for parking using their FASTag account. Then there is UPI, which has multiple app option options like Paytm, PhonePe and even Google Pay.
