If you are planning to buy a foldable phone, then a new foldable smartphone can enter the market. According to information given by a tipster, OnePlus is working on its first foldable phone, which could look like Oppo Find N. The Oppo Find N foldable smartphone was launched on Inno Day in December. However, no information has been revealed about when it will debut in the international markets. The smartphone comes with a flexion hinge and Oppo claims that the phone folds completely, leaving no gap between the two sides of the folded display. Along with Vivo and Realme, both Oppo and OnePlus are owned by Chinese company BBK Electronics.
When will the OnePlus foldable phone launch?
Quoting tipster Yogesh Brar, Pricebaba said in a report that there is no information about the launch timeline of OnePlus’ foldable phone at the moment. He further added that OnePlus is set to launch five smartphones this year, but the list does not include foldable devices. Oppo and OnePlus have launched several smartphones with similar specifications and the Find N foldable phone could be the next handset in the list.

Oppo-OnePlus share resources
Recently, both the companies announced the merger of OnePlus with Oppo to create ‘even better products’ for the customers. In fact, OnePlus merged its OxygenOS with Oppo’s ColorOS to “improve efficiency and standardize the software experience” across devices. As mentioned, both OnePlus and Oppo are owned by Guangdong-based conglomerate BBK Electronics, which also owns brands such as Vivo and Realme. Thus, these companies share their resources internally.
Vivo X Fold will be launched on April 11
The company’s Vivo brand is all set to launch its first foldable smartphone, Vivo X Fold, in China on April 11. The phone could have a 6.5-inch AMOLED primary display and an 8-inch foldable AMOLED panel. It is speculated to have quad rear cameras and a 4600mAh battery.
