Jalna. Amidst the ongoing tussle over the Maharashtra assembly elections, Sharad Pawar faction leader Jayant Patil gave such a statement that it seems that now the Pawar family is not possible to reconcile. Patil said that there is no question of an alliance with the Nationalist Congress Party led by Ajit Pawar.
In fact, in the last few days, such developments have come to light which suggest that Ajit Pawar is trying to get in touch with his uncle Sharad Pawar. These speculations were further strengthened when Chhagan Bhujbal went to meet Sharad Pawar. Later, Ajit Pawar’s wife Sunetra also reached Sharad Pawar’s house. But now it is clear from Patil’s statement that the Pawar family will hardly be seen united politically.
Both have their own election symbols
Jayant Patil said that the party led by Sharad Pawar got tremendous support from the people in the recent Lok Sabha elections. Because of them, the Mahavikas Aghadi got success. We won eight out of the 10 seats we contested. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s NCP won only from Raigad, while it lost the prestige battle in Baramati and Shirur. Patil said, NCP has split into two parties. Both have their own election symbols. There is no question of alliance between the two.
what did he say about Fadnavis
When asked about the allegations leveled by his party colleague and former state home minister Anil Deshmukh against Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Patil said the senior BJP leader should not engage in such politics. Deshmukh had alleged that Fadnavis had tried to pressure him to sign false affidavits against Uddhav Thackeray and Anil Parab and undivided NCP leader Ajit Pawar.
