There is a ruckus on the license and not on writing Halal on meat shops in Jaipur

Jaipur. After the order to write the names of the shop, hotel and cart owners on the route of Kanwar Yatra in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, there has been a buzz about this in many states. This demand is gradually gaining momentum in Rajasthan too. While BJP MLA from Hawa Mahal, Jaipur, Balmukundacharya has strongly welcomed the decision of the Uttar Pradesh government, he has raised the demand to implement it in Rajasthan too. At the same time, Jaipur Greater Mayor Dr. Saumya Gurjar is also insisting that now it will be written on the meat shops in Jaipur whether the meat is Jhatka or Halal.

The meat sellers at ground zero in Jaipur have to say that they have no objection to Jhatkaa or Halal not being written on the label. According to them, if they sell Halal meat, they have no hesitation in writing it on the shop. The problem is about the license. Firstly, there are many kinds of impracticalities in it, secondly, they allege that there is so much corruption in the corporation that it is a sweat to get the license.

Meat merchants said there is no objection to writing Jhatka or Halal
Hameed Qureshi, a meat shop owner of Moti Dungri Road in Jaipur city, says that he has no objection to writing Jhatkaa or Halal. Sabir Qureshi of Jaipur Meat Merchant Association also does not differ from him. Haji Farid, who is also associated with the same association, also does not see any objection in this. On the issue of writing Jhatkaa or Halal on the shop, meat merchant Mohammad Yusuf Qureshi and Deputy President of All India Jamiatul Qureshi Musharraf Qureshi also agree with the opinion of these other shopkeepers. But the basic question and objection of all of them is regarding the commercial license and lease for the meat shop from the corporation.

Mayor said- this decision has been taken on the basis of public sentiment
On the other hand, Jaipur Greater Dr. Mayor Saumya Gurjar says that on the basis of public sentiment, we have decided that it will be written outside the meat shops whether the meat is Jhatka or Halal. Along with this, the Greater Municipal Corporation has already taken the decision to not sell meat in the open and to make commercial license mandatory for its shops. Now a new rule will be applicable for those selling meat in the city.

It will be ‘compulsory’ to write Jhatkaa or Halal
Under this, it has now been made ‘compulsory’ to write Jhatkaa or Halal outside the meat shop. Dr. Saumya Gurjar has put her stamp on this. Apart from this, meat shops have been banned in residential areas. The license renewal of meat shops will also be given only if there is a commercial lease. Apart from this, meat shops will not be opened in residential areas. While more than half of the meat shops in Jaipur do not have a commercial license and lease.

Now you will not be able to sell meat without a commercial license
Now a separate place will be determined for these shops. Now it is believed that a survey will be conducted in this matter. Which shop is where and how the rules are being followed at the shops. Along with this, all preparations are being made by the Municipal Corporation to implement the rules. It will be implemented very soon. Everyone has been told that those who have a license should show the license and those who do not have a license should get a commercial license as soon as possible. Without a commercial license, meat will not be sold now.
