There was a ruckus in Rajasthan assembly over Babas, proceedings had to be postponed thrice

Jaipur. During the ongoing budget session in the Rajasthan Assembly, there was so much uproar today that the proceedings of the House had to be adjourned thrice. Due to the uproar and tremendous chaos, no meaningful discussion could take place in the House for hours. This uproar in the House arose over the comment made by Congress MLA Shravan Kumar about the Babas a day earlier. After that, the entire ruling party including BJP’s staunch Hindu leader and Tijara MLA Baba Balaknath insisted on demanding an apology from Shravan Kumar for the comment made by him.

In fact, MLA Shravan Kumar of Surajgarh assembly of Jhunjhunu, while commenting on Babas on Wednesday, had said that Babas have ruined the country. After that, today the government chief whip Jogeshwar Garg demanded action in this matter. On this, there was a heated argument between the ruling and opposition parties in the House. He said that Shravan Kumar has insulted Sanatan culture. We are hurt. We will not tolerate this. This is objectionable. It has become a tradition to make baseless comments on Sanatan culture.

Balak Nath said that Congress has insulted the entire saint community
After that Baba Balak Nath said that Congress has insulted the entire Sant Samaj. Does Congress believe that this country has been ruined by the Babas? On this, Sikar MLA of Congress Rajendra Pareek said that many times such deadlocks happen in excitement and passion. Indecent comments are also made. This was a normal discussion. Excitement should not be spread on this. If it is an indecent comment, then delete it from the proceedings. Shravan Kumar did not make any personal comment on anyone.

Patel said he has no right to stay in the House without apologising
Minister Jogaram Patel said that Shravan Kumar has no right to remain in the House without apologizing. If he does not apologize, a motion for his suspension will be brought. The speaker read out Shravan Kumar’s address. The speaker said that this is not the decorum of the House. Shravan Kumar protested against this. After that, a walkout broke out. This caused a huge uproar. Looking at the situation, the proceedings of the House had to be adjourned for some time.

Speaker Vasudev Devnani warned Shravan
When the proceedings of the House resumed, the ruling party again put pressure on Shravan Kumar to apologize. Speaker Vasudev Devnani instructed Shravan not to use such words in future. But even this did not soften the stance of the ruling party. Chief Whip Jogeshwar Garg said that if he does not apologize, we will not settle the matter.

There was uproar again in the assembly
Later, as soon as Shravan Kumar stood up, Baba Balak Nath of the ruling party protested. Shravan Kumar said that bullying will not work. I do not like bullying. I have never made any controversial comment in 40 years. Pointing towards Balak Nath, he said that he wanted to become the Chief Minister. He did not even become a minister. Balak Nath said, is Shravan Ji adamant on his words? I will not let you go out of the house. You clarify, otherwise I will gather the saints of the whole country outside your house. On this, Shravan Kumar said, do not ask where my destination is. I have just decided to travel. I have pure feelings towards the saints. I want that no one should be angry with me.

Balaknath did not agree even on the request of seat
After the deadlock continued for a long time over Shravan Kumar’s comment, Shravan Kumar assured the speaker that the mistake will not be repeated in future. After that the proceedings of the House resumed. But as soon as Shravan Kumar started speaking on the grant demands, Baba Balak Nath again protested. Balak Nath did not agree even on the request of the chair. After that there was a heated debate between Baba Balak Nath and Shravan Kumar again. Due to the uproar, the proceedings of the House had to be adjourned for the third time.
