New Delhi. Famous actor Akshay Oberoi needs no introduction today. To become an actor, he did theatre and also did many small roles. He has struggled a lot in his career. But he never gave up. Today his film ‘Pizza’ has completed 10 years.
On the occasion of his film completing ten years, Akshay said, ‘Pizza’ is very close to my heart because through this I entered the horror genre. Even after a decade, this film is being liked by the audience, which shows the interest in supernatural thrillers.
This film means a lot to me
Talking about his film, Akshay said, ‘Pizza’ has a huge significance in my career. I believe there is still a lot to be done to push the boundaries of horror storytelling in India. We have only scratched the surface of what the horror genre can achieve. ‘Pizza’ is a remake of the Tamil film of the same name.

He won hearts by becoming a delivery boy
In the film, Akshay Oberoi has played the role of pizza delivery boy Kunal. Actress Parvati Omanakuttan has played the role of his wife Nikki, who is a struggling writer and keeps writing ghost stories. Later in the story, Nikki gets pregnant, but Kunal is not happy with this news, looking at the situation at home. He believes that right now his earnings are not enough to bear the expenses of another member in the house. Both of them have fights, which get resolved with time. One day Kunal reaches a bungalow to deliver pizza where the doors close as soon as he enters. There are ghosts inside that bungalow.
Let us tell you that Akshay has also appeared in Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer film ‘Fighter’ before this. Akshay was seen in the role of a child in the 2002 comedy-drama ‘American Chai’. He started as a lead actor with ‘Isi Life Mein’. After this, he appeared in films like ‘Pizza’, ‘Piku’, ‘Fitoor’, ‘Gurgaon’, ‘Kaalakaandi’, ‘I Love You’, ‘Ek Kori Prem Katha’ and ‘Gaslight’.
