New Delhi. Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor talked about the last days of his father Rishi Kapoor. He told that he did not have a close relationship with his father, but in the end both of them became very close. Ranbir Kapoor recalled the moment when he was told that his father Rishi Kapoor could die anytime, he had a panic attack in the hospital itself. Ranbir Kapoor also revealed that he did not cry on the death of his father Rishi Kapoor.
Rishi Kapoor died in May 2020 due to cancer. Ranbir Kapoor talked about his childhood during an interview and said that he loved his father very much, but their relationship was not very good.
I did not cry when my father died
Ranbir Kapoor told Nikhil Kamath during a conversation, ‘I had stopped crying a long time ago. Even when my father passed away, I did not cry. When I was in the hospital, the doctor told me that this was his last night, he could leave at any time. I remember that as soon as I reached the room, I had a panic attack. I did not know how to express myself. A lot was happening, which was difficult to bear, but I don’t think I have ever expressed grief or understood that loss even today.’
