Pandya has been struggling with injury
Team India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been very troubled due to injury in the recent times. Hardik Pandya had a back injury problem during the T20 World Cup 2021. Due to which he could bowl only four overs in the entire World Cup. Team India was eliminated from the group stage in this World Cup. Apart from this, during the ODI World Cup 2023, Pandya was also out of the tournament midway after the injury. After which the Indian team missed him and its effect was also seen in the final. Although Hardik Pandya has performed very well as captain during the IPL, the BCCI has had to take this decision due to his fitness.
