To whom did Akhilesh Yadav write the letter and why did he say- 'We give you full respect'

After the spectacular victory in the Lok Sabha elections, the Samajwadi Party has started strengthening its organization. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has started a unique initiative for this. He has personally contacted the disgruntled leaders of the party and is trying to bring them back into the party.

Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that only when the organization is strong, we will be able to stand strong in the elections. He said that the organization comes first and every worker associated with the party is important. He said that every worker associated with the ground has as much respect as any big officer or minister.

Let us tell you that former Badaun MP Salim Iqbal Sherwani had resigned from the post of National General Secretary of Samajwadi Party on February 18 after getting angry over something some time ago. Similarly, SP leader Yogendra Tomar from Aligarh had also resigned from the post of National General Secretary on February 21.

To pacify these angry leaders before the elections, Akhilesh Yadav has written a letter to both the leaders and requested them to withdraw their resignations.

Akhilesh Yadav has written in the letter sent to these leaders- “Samajwadi Party needs a successful politician and a great person like you. We give you full respect. I request you to stay in Samajwadi Party and continue to support us as before.”

Focus on by-elections
Let us tell you that by-elections are to be held on 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. The announcement of elections can be made anytime. Like the Lok Sabha elections, Akhilesh Yadav has geared up to defeat BJP in the by-elections as well. Recently, while addressing the party workers at the party’s state headquarters in Lucknow, he said that there is a power struggle in the BJP, due to which the administrative system in the state is falling apart.

While cautioning party workers about the possible by-elections for 10 assembly seats in the state, Yadav said that the BJP is engaged in weakening democracy and its parent organisation RSS’s agenda is to impose dictatorship in the guise of democracy.

The SP chief said that both of them are trying to violate the sanctity of democracy by conspiring in the assembly by-elections. Akhilesh Yadav said that the Samajwadi Party is committed to social justice and caste census. The BJP cannot stand anywhere in front of the combined strength of the PDA, backward, Dalit and minorities, women and the poor.
