At least three people have been killed and 29 injured in a blast in Balochistan’s Sibi district. This report has been given by Pakistani newspaper Dawn quoting Dr Waseem Baig, Coordinator of the Health Department of Balochistan. The nature of the explosion is not yet known.
The condition of five injured in the blast near Thandi Sark in Sibi district is said to be critical. The injured have been admitted to the local civil hospital.
Sarwar Hashmi, medical superintendent of the local civil hospital, said that most of the injured were security personnel. Five of the seriously injured were taken to Quetta.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bijenjo strongly condemned the blast and ordered the authorities to provide all possible medical treatment to those injured in the blast.
