He said that within 100 days, 16 model Anganwadi centers will be inaugurated and 16,000 beneficiaries will be given benefits under Manipur Old Age Pension Scheme and 10,000 will be distributed to other beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Widow Pension Scheme. In addition, solar power systems for government health facilities in Tamenglong, Chandel and Churachandpur districts and amusement cum children parks at six locations will be inaugurated in Tamenglong, Senapati, Ukhrul, Jiribam, Churachandpur and Chandel districts.
He said, “The mission will also focus on transparent delivery of public service in the poorest areas where every family in the state will have at least one permanent source of livelihood. He also referred to the restructuring of the Anti-Corruption Cell in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). In the next 100 days, all deputy commissioners, superintendents of police, divisional forest officers and all employees have been asked to remain within their respective districts and can only move with the prior permission of the chief secretary or the director general of police to the forest chief.
Expanding the concept of ‘Meiyagi Namit’ (People’s Day), DCs have been asked to organize ‘Meiyagi Namit’ at the district level on one day every month in their district, where the general public can address their specific grievances or suggestions. can. Apart from this, SP, DFO and district level officers will also attend the meeting. In the first five years of the BJP-led government in Manipur, ‘Meiyagi Namit’ has been organized on the 15th of every month.
