All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has accepted the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in UP as a public order. He also rejected the allegations of EVM rigging while respecting the public’s decision. However, he said that people have a special chip in their mind. Owaisi said about the poor performance of his party that the result has not been as expected.
Speaking to ANI, Owaisi said, “People have decided to give power to BJP. I welcome the decision of the people. I express my gratitude to the AIMIM state chief, workers, members and the people of the state who voted for us. We tried a lot, but the results did not come as per our expectations. We will work hard again.”

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi rubbished the issue of EVMs being raised by the SP and said, “All political parties want to raise the issue of EVMs to hide their defeat. There is nothing wrong with EVMs, there is a chip in the mind of the people. It is a success, but it is 80:20. “We will start working again from tomorrow and hope to do better next time,” he said.
