Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has targeted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over the selection of five Rajya Sabha candidates from Punjab. Sidhu questioned AAP’s selection by tweeting on Tuesday, leaving cricketer Harbhajan Singh. He said, “These are the new batteries for the Delhi remote control, which are flickering. Harbhajan is an exception, everything else is batteries. This is a betrayal of Punjab!”
The 5 names announced by AAP include Delhi IIT professor Sandeep Pathak, cricketer Harbhajan Singh. Apart from this, Raghav Chadha, co-in-charge of Punjab unit is also being sent to Rajya Sabha. The fourth and fifth names in this list are important as they have no political affiliation with the Aam Aadmi Party. These names are Ashok Mittal and Sanjeev Arora. Ashok Mittal is the founder of Lovely Professional University. Apart from this, Sanjeev Arora is a big industrialist. Dr. Sandeep Pathak has been associated with the Aam Aadmi Party for a long time and has been handling Arvind Kejriwal’s backroom.
New batteries for the Delhi remote control , it’s blinking….. Harbhajan is an exception , the rest are batteries and betrayal of Punjab ! @ArvindKejriwal
