UP Chunav Exit Poll As soon as the voting for the seventh and final phase of the UP assembly elections was over, most of the exit polls that came on Monday evening showed that the BJP government was once again formed in the state with an absolute majority. The lead made by the BJP from the first phase seems to be taking the BJP beyond the majority mark while maintaining it till the last phase. At the same time, even after all the efforts, the Samajwadi Party is not even visible around the power in UP. Even in the districts that have been strongholds of the party, Akhilesh Yadav does not seem to be winning.
Different exit polls show a similar picture. In the third phase, votes were cast in 59 seats in Hathras, Firozabad, Etah, Kasganj, Mainpuri, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Etawah, Auraiya, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Jalaun, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Hamirpur and Mahoba. These areas are considered to be the stronghold of the Samajwadi Party. Some people also call it Yadav Land. According to the survey of ABP News and C Voters, here also the BJP alliance is looking heavy on the Samajwadi Party alliance. The exit polls have projected the BJP alliance to get 38 to 42 seats out of 59 seats. While the SP alliance seems to be getting only 16 to 20 seats. It is also worth mentioning that Akhilesh Yadav himself is also a candidate from Karhal seat of the same area. A sizeable population of Yadavs, Lodhs, Shakyas and Mauryas is said to be in this area. It is considered a stronghold of SP patronage and Akhilesh Yadav’s father Mulayam Singh Yadav. Till now, SP has been getting good seats from here in every election.
SP gains some seats but far away from power
According to the exit poll data of Aaj Tak-Axis My India, the Yogi government is going to return with pomp in UP. While SP is also getting the advantage of some seats. Its seats seem to be increasing as compared to 2017 but they remain far away from power.
How is it in the third phase
According to the Aaj Tak-Axis My India exit poll, in the third phase, BJP can get 46 percent, SP 36 percent, BSP 13 percent, Congress three percent and others two percent. With these votes, the BJP alliance can get 48 out of 59 seats in the third phase. While the SP alliance is expected to get 11 seats.
