After the release of ‘The Kashmir Files’ movie, the issue of genocide and exodus of Hindus from Kashmir Valley has once again come into the limelight. For this, a section is also blaming former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah. Meanwhile, Farooq Abdullah has reacted sharply to such allegations. Abdullah said on Tuesday that he was ready to be hanged anywhere in the country if found guilty of the 1990 genocide. In a conversation with India Today TV channel, Abdullah said, ‘The truth will come out, if you appoint an honest judge and form a committee to investigate it. You will know who was responsible for this.
Not only this, he said, ‘If Farooq Abdullah is found guilty, then he is ready to be hanged anywhere in the country. I am ready for this trial, but I should not hold the people responsible who had nothing to do with it. Regarding the massacre of Kashmiri Pandits, Abdullah said, ‘I do not believe that I am responsible for this. If people want to know the bitter truth about this, then they have to talk to the IB Chief of that era. Apart from this, information can also be taken from the Governor of Kerala, Arif Mohammad Khan, who was a minister in the central government at that time.
‘We had brought down dead bodies from trees, a commission was formed to know the truth’
Further, Farooq Abdullah said that the truth of what happened in 1990 must come to the fore and a commission should be constituted for this. He said that apart from Kashmiri Pandits, what happened to Sikhs and Muslims during that period should come to the fore. Abdullah said that my MLAs, workers and ministers had brought down their dead bodies from trees. Such were the circumstances. Not only this, Farooq Abdullah also commented on the film The Kashmir Files directed by Vivek Agnihotri. He said that it is a propaganda movie.
Abdullah told The Kashmir Files a propaganda movie
Farooq Abdullah said, ‘It is a propaganda movie. It has shown only one side of the tragedy in which all Hindus and Muslims had to face. My heart still weeps over that incident. There were elements of political parties who believed in caste genocide.
