Everyone goes to the office by car, bike and even bicycle. Have you ever seen a person going to office on a horse? Sheikh Yusuf, who lives in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, is now going to the office with a bag on his back, riding on a horse. This is not their hobby, but a compulsion. Fed up with the ever increasing cost of petrol, he thought it appropriate to go to the office on a horse instead of his bike.
Sheikh Yusuf is working as Lab Assistant in YB Chavan College of Pharmacy. He said that amidst rising oil prices, he finds it economical to ride a horse to his office. The distance between Yusuf’s home and college is about 15 kilometres. Earlier, he used to go to office on his bike every day, but due to the increase in petrol cost, he started having problems.

Yusuf says that his bike broke down a few months back. Due to the lockdown, there was no public transport facility. He did not get his bike repaired due to rising petrol prices. Instead, he bought a horse for 40 thousand rupees.
Yusuf named his horse Jigar. Now he travels to and from college every day riding on his liver. According to Yusuf, Jigar is a horse of Kathiawadi breed. Its age is four years. Going to office by horse is more economical than bike. In addition, horse riding is also beneficial for health.
