Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday slammed Congress leader Kapil Sibal. Taking a jibe at Kapil Sibal for his remarks about the Gandhi family in the Congress party, Baghel said that “those who did not fight, they are telling the rules of the fight”.
In fact, senior party leader Sibal had said in an interview to ‘Indian Express’ that the Gandhi family should separate from the leadership of the Congress party and give a chance to someone else. He also said that he does not want ‘Ghar Ki Congress’, but ‘Sabki Congress’.
Hitting back at Sibal’s remarks, Bhupesh Baghel took to Twitter. He wrote, “Those who did not fight, they are telling the rules of the fight. Those who are lurking in the midst of war, in their homes, they are telling the importance of martyrdom. From the roots that have been cut, they are teaching the banyan trees to grow. Congress’s A true soldier is the one who is fighting instead of lamenting. We will keep fighting.”
In another tweet, Baghel wrote, “Congress is a house-to-house Congress, every household has a Congress. But some people want to make it Congress of ‘Dinner’ and ‘Bungalo’. Once you come to UP and see that What is the leadership and fighting like. All those who kept talking about the destruction of Congress have disappeared.
Let us tell you that Sibal, a member of the ‘G23’ group of Congress, made this remark two days after the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting. In the CWC meeting, Congress leaders exuded confidence in the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and asked her to continue in office till the organizational elections are over and take necessary steps to strengthen the party.
