Rajnath Singh has said in Parliament that it was later found that the missile had fallen in the territory of Pakistan. The Defense Minister further said that this investigation will reveal the exact cause of the accident. I would also like to state that in the wake of this incident, the Standard Operating Procedures for operation, maintenance and inspection are being reviewed. He has said that we give the highest priority to the safety and security of our weapon systems. If any deficiency is found, it will be rectified immediately.

Regarding the missile incident, Pakistan says that it wants to hold bilateral talks about this incident. China has also jumped in this matter and said that India and Pakistan should hold bilateral talks about this together. The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman has said that both Pakistan and India are important countries of South Asia. Both of them have the responsibility of maintaining peace in the region.
