Do not rub the skin

Do not use skin peeling, polishing, parlor facials, bleaching or hair color for at least a week after playing Holi.

Never apply lemon juice directly on the skin to clean the stubborn colors of Holi from the skin. Doing so can damage your skin.
Do not apply laundry soap
Many people take bath only with laundry soap to clean the color of Holi. Do not try to remove the color repeatedly by rubbing with soap. The chemicals present in soap make the skin dry and lifeless. Apart from this, it can also cause many skin related problems. In this case, apply coconut oil in cotton and wash the face with water.
Keep your mouth and eyes closed while removing the color. Take care that the colored water does not get into the ear.
Keep these things in mind-
Before playing Holi, apply mustard oil on the entire skin including your hair and apply coconut or almond oil after playing Holi. This will minimize the damage to the skin.
Keep the body covered. It would be better to wear full sleeves clothes on the occasion of Holi.
