After this he went to Bilaspur from where he studied till MSc. He then went to Cambridge, UK via Hyderabad where he spent six years. According to the website of IIT Delhi, Sandeep worked with Professor Vladimir Bulovic at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a professor at IIT Delhi since 2006.
