The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has now reached its 13th day. The Russian army is constantly targeting different cities of Ukraine. Despite this, Ukraine is still not ready to back down. In many cities, the Russian army has also conducted missile attacks. Due to this war, the people of Ukraine are trying to save their lives and some people are running away from their country. Meanwhile, Ukrainian authorities have arrested one of their own MPs. This happened when the MPs were about to leave the country.
Actually, people of Ukraine are taking refuge in neighboring countries out of bunkers. Media reports quoted Ukrainian official sources as saying that Yevgen Shevchenko, a member of the ruling party of Ukraine, was arrested when he was fleeing the country. According to the rules of the government, the MP has no right to leave the country. If someone does this then it will be considered a violation of the rules and that is why the MP has been arrested.
Reports also mention that MP Yevgen Shevchenko is of age to fight a war according to the mandatory military service, so he cannot leave the country. However, MP Shevchenko has been expelled from the ruling party long ago because of many serious allegations against him. Yevgen Shevchenko met with the Belarusian president last year, after which he was expelled from the party.
On the other hand, Ukraine is still in a state of crisis. Although there was a third round of talks between the two countries regarding a ceasefire in the middle of the war, but it remained inconclusive. During this, in the talks held in Belarus on Monday, it was also not agreed to build a human corridor in Ukraine to evacuate people in the midst of the war. Ukraine’s President Zelensky is constantly attacking Russian President Putin and asking for help from the world.
