Swami Prasad Maurya, who went to the Samajwadi Party with big claims, could neither bring the SP to power nor win his seat. In the election results, while the influence of former Union Minister RPN was visible, on the other hand, Swami Prasad has proved to be a big deal in this election. RPN had taken command of the election campaign in all the seven seats of the district and the result was 100 percent in favor of the BJP. On the other hand, all the claims made by Swami Prasad after joining the SP before the elections have proved to be hollow.
After leaving the BJP, Swami Prasad had claimed that the entire OBC and Dalit society has turned in favor of the SP after him. He will drive the BJP out of power. A few days later, former Union Minister RPN Singh from Congress joined the BJP. He had only said that he would work with all his life like a common worker in the BJP. When Padrauna came, he united day and night in favor of BJP candidates.
A large number of Congressmen also joined the BJP after him. Congress candidate from Padrauna also joined BJP and he was contested on BJP ticket ticket. His election operation office was made in the court of RPN Singh. RPN was monitoring it day and night. The BJP leadership also had full faith in him.
In Kushinagar, the meeting of CM Yogi was held only in Fazilnagar, while his demand was in all the assemblies. In Hata, Ramkola, Khadda and Kushinagar too, RPN helped mobilize OBC voters. In Deoria’s Rampur Karkhana, Pathardeva and Deoria Sadar also, RPN conducted roadshows to save OBC voters. Political experts also cite their contribution in mobilizing OBC voters, especially Kurmi, Sainthwar and Patel voters in the border areas of Maharajganj and Gorakhpur adjacent to Kushinagar. He made his disciples stand in front of him and made claims of winning, but nothing like this happened.
