Bharatiya Janata Party has declared the list of 30 candidates for the Legislative Council elections. The list includes the names of CP Chand from Gorakhpur-Maharajganj seat, Dinesh Pratap Singh from Rae Bareli and Ravi Shankar Singh Pappu from Ballia. Enrollment date extended
Significantly, on Wednesday, the date of nomination for the Legislative Council elections has been extended from March 19 to March 21. Nominations are going on for these elections being held on 36 seats since March 15. Elections are to be held on April 9. The results will come on 12th April. There are a total of 100 seats in the Legislative Council in Uttar Pradesh.
