Apple finally unveiled several new products with its cheaper iPhone models at the peak performance event on Tuesday (March 8). In the event, the company launched the affordable iPhone (New iPhone SE), which people were eagerly waiting for. The new iPhone SE is an upgrade model of the iPhone SE (2020) which was introduced in April 2020. The most important thing is that the new iPhone SE comes with 5G connectivity and works on the company’s most powerful A15 Bionic chip, which was introduced in the iPhone 13 lineup last year. The new iPhone SE (2022) also has an improved rear camera. However, despite the hardware upgrade, the new iPhone SE comes with the old design language, which was introduced almost two years ago. Let’s have a quick look at the price, the full details of the features…
What’s special in iPhone SE (2022)
– iPhone SE (2022) runs on iOS 15. It has a 4.7 inch Retina HD display. Overall, the display of the iPhone SE (2022) looks similar to the previous iPhone SE model. However, the company has claimed that the new iPhone SE has the “toughest glass on a smartphone” at the front and back. The glass protection is the same as that of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro. The new model also comes with an IP67-certified build.
The new iPhone SE (2022) has the A15 Bionic chip which is also available on the iPhone 13 series. The presence of the A15 Bionic chip on the new iPhone SE is claimed to offer 1.8 times faster CPU performance than the iPhone 8. It also brings features including live text. The new iPhone also comes with a 12-megapixel single camera sensor with an f/1.8 lens like the previous iPhone SE. However, improvements are included in the rear camera sensor – an improved visual processing.
