Aaj Tak ABP News Exit Poll: The results of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections will be announced on March 10, but at present, in most of the opinion polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government is once again being formed. In the survey of ABP News C Voter and Aaj Tak Axis My India, BJP has been predicted to get a lead in West UP. According to the exit polls till date, BJP can clean up the SP in West UP.
All eyes are on the results of western UP, which has been a bastion of farmers’ agitation for more than a year against three agricultural laws. According to the survey of ABP News C Voter, BJP can win 51-59 seats in the sugarcane belt. At the same time, the SP alliance, which is trying to form a Muslim-Jat alliance through the farmers’ movement, can get 49-57 seats. BSP has been projected to get 3-7 seats. Congress can get only 0-2 seats.

In western UP, the SP had an alliance with the RLD. Polling was held in the first and second phases in western UP. The issue of sugarcane versus Jinnah had sprung up loudly. In 2017 too in western UP, the BJP had captured most of the seats. This time the SP seems to be performing somewhat better, but the BJP is still seen in the forefront here.
Estimates to date
According to the estimates given by Axis My India till date regarding West UP, BJP can get 49 seats in the first phase, then SP will get 8 and BSP will get only one seat. At the same time, BJP has been predicted to get 32 seats in the second phase. SP can capture 22 seats. The BSP may have to be content with just one seat.
