Show cause notice to the dissatisfied
Imran Khan’s party has issued show cause notices to 14 dissatisfied members of the National Assembly (MNA) ahead of the vote on the no-confidence motion. He has been asked to apologize and join the party unconditionally within seven days. This decision has been taken after the presidency of Prime Minister Imran.
Imran met Bajwa
Imran Khan met Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday amid the ruckus over the no-confidence motion. There is speculation that Imran and Bajwa’s meeting was focused on the current political situation in the country, while local media claim that its agenda included points such as the upcoming conference of the Organization of Islamic Countries, unrest in Balochistan and a no-confidence motion against the Pakistani prime minister.
