Lucknow. CM Yogi Adityanath met the public representatives of Prayagraj division on Thursday evening. Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya did not attend the review meeting. Maurya was called by the organization but he did not attend the meeting. Earlier, Maurya did not come to the BJP’s Kashi province meeting. Not only this, a meeting of Prayagraj division was held about 6 months ago. This meeting was held before the Lok Sabha elections 2024, even in that the Deputy CM was not present.
Here, CM Yogi took feedback from the public representatives of Prayagraj division. Met MLAs from Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, Fatehpur districts. Many public representatives including Minister Nand Gopal Nandi, MLA Siddharth Nath Singh, Harsh Bajpai paid courtesy visit to CM Yogi.
BJP MLA Harsh Bajpai, who arrived to attend the meeting, said, ‘This is an election review meeting. What can be done to improve the performance in the general elections that have taken place. Can we do better in the by-elections, can we remove the shortcomings. There are some such issues in politics. Some agreements and some disagreements but the party runs on teamwork, everyone works together.’
After the meeting, BJP MLA Siddharth Nath Singh said, ‘All the public representatives had come. There was a discussion about the elections in the review and what to do next. Got guidance from the CM.’ Another MLA said, ‘Just had a meeting with the CM. It was a good meeting. Everything is fine. A meeting has been held to prepare for the 2027 elections. On the question of KP Morya, he said that I do not know whether I was called or not.’
