During the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, some stories that set an example of humanity have also come to the fore. One of these stories is of a man from Britain, who went to Ukraine to save a lion and a wolf. The man’s name is Tim Locks and he shared his story on Facebook. People are praising his bravery and his immense love for animals.
According to a Facebook post by Tim Locks, a zoo in Ukraine was closed due to the war. He headed to war-torn Ukraine to rescue a lion and a wolf living in the zoo. Tim told that after completing the paperwork he went out with a local man. After reaching the zoo, the cages of the lion and the wolf were loaded into a minibus. It took three hours. The rear seats of the minibus were removed using JCBs and cranes. Then with the help of a police escort, they left the city.
Tim and his companions brought the lion and the wolf to safety. Tim says that everyone is trying to save people during the war. But no one is taking care of these innocent people. So we thought of saving these animals and then got the job done.
Tim said in another Facebook post that the lion, Simba and the wolf Akela, who were rescued from Zoo, have been shifted to Zoo in Romania. Both are having fun eating and drinking and having fun. For now, we are busy preparing for the next task.
