Swimming practice of a swim team at a Florida school came to a halt after students found an alligator in the pool. The students refused to go to the pool. Due to this his practice was also postponed. Giving information, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said the deputy arrived at Monteverde Academy after a swim team reported an alligator crashing into practice and refusing to leave the pool itself. A safety hook was used to pull the 3-foot alligator close to the edge of the pool, where it was captured by another deputy.
Electrical tape was used to tie up the crocodile’s jaws, which were later removed, before being transferred to Lake Apopka. After this the crocodile was released in the lake with similar crocodiles. The County Sheriff’s Office also shared the photo of the crocodile as well as wrote about the entire incident on social media. He told how this crocodile was rescued. He clearly said that there was no injury to the crocodile or any policeman during this incident.
People praised the policemen for this rescue. People say that the policemen have bravely saved the crocodile and left it in the lake at the right place where it will recover and live with its relatives. At the same time, some social media users have jokingly said that the crocodile should have lived in the pool of the same school. Fearing this, the swimming practice of the swimming team would have been good as the children would have swerved to avoid it.
