Bullet hits Trump’s ear at Pennsylvania rally.
Washington: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has put an end to all the speculations being made about the attack on former US President Donald Trump about two weeks ago. The FBI’s investigation into whether Trump was actually attacked at the Pennsylvania rally and whether Trump was actually shot in the ear, whether the attacker really tried to kill Trump at the rally, was completed on Friday. After this, the FBI confirmed that the former US President was actually shot in the ear during the rally in Pennsylvania. The FBI also said that the attack was actually an attempt to kill Trump.
The FBI said in a statement, “The entire bullet or pellet from the attacker’s rifle hit former President Trump’s ear.” FBI Director Christopher Ray had made some vague comments about the attack earlier this week, which led to speculation about whether Trump was actually shot. Trump and his allies were angry about this comment. Law enforcement officials involved in the investigation, including the FBI and the Secret Service, have not yet clarified why Trump was injured.
Attack was an attempt to assassinate Trump: FBI
Trump’s campaign team also refused to release the medical records of the hospital where the former president was treated after being injured. All information regarding Trump’s health came either from Trump himself or from his former White House physician Ronny Jackson. The FBI later issued a statement confirming that the shooting was an “attempt to assassinate former President Trump, resulting in his injury and the death of a brave father, while several others were injured.” (AP)
