Actually, the grand opening ceremony of Paris Olympics 2024 was held on 26th July and today i.e. Saturday was the first day of Paris Olympics. On the very first day of Olympics, Anupam Kher shared a post related to it. He shared a video of relay race on his x handle and in the caption he congratulated India for making it to the finals. Along with this, he also used the hashtag of Olympic Games. Now he is being targeted by trolls for this post.
Why did users get angry after seeing Anupam Kher’s post?
Today is the first day of Paris Olympics and the game in which Anupam Kher has claimed India’s victory will be held on 9th August and the final on 10th August. Responding to the trolls, the veteran actor wrote – ‘So what if it is old, this is what is called wishful thinking.’

The video of the relay race shared by the actor is actually from last year. In 2023, the World Athletics Championships were held in Budapest, Hungary, in which the Indian team of four, including Mohammad Ajmal, Rajesh Ramesh and Amoj Jacob, made it to the finals for the first time by finishing the relay race in a record time of 2:59.05 seconds.
