New Delhi. It rained in the country’s capital Delhi and its surrounding areas on Saturday. Despite this, the problems of Delhiites are not decreasing. Due to the maximum-minimum temperature being higher than normal and high humidity, people have to walk with handkerchiefs in their hands. People are getting drenched in sweat as soon as they move away from the cooler-fan. The wind also blows at a very low speed, due to which people are not able to breathe a sigh of relief despite the rain. Let us tell you that in the last few days, due to strong sunlight during the day in Delhi and surrounding areas, the temperature is also getting affected.

According to the India Meteorological Department, it rained in some parts of Delhi on Saturday. The maximum temperature in the national capital and surrounding areas was recorded at 36.3 degrees Celsius, which was 1.4 degrees above average. The IMD said that the minimum temperature was 28.2 degrees Celsius, which is one degree above average. Due to the maximum and minimum temperatures being above average, people are facing more problems.

How will the weather be on Sunday
IMD has released the latest forecast for the weather of Delhi NCR. Meteorologists have predicted generally cloudy sky and light rain on Sunday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 36 and 29 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, the humidity on Saturday will be between 97 percent and 72 percent. It rained in some parts of Delhi including Central Delhi and South Delhi.

The state of pollution
According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the national capital’s air quality index (AQI) was recorded in the moderate category with a reading of 128 at 6 pm. An AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, between 51 and 100 satisfactory, between 101 and 200 moderate, between 201 and 300 poor, between 301 and 400 very poor and between 401 and 500 severe.
