Lady Sehwag Shefali Verma said a day before the semi-final, ‘It is good that we are winning all the matches and performing well as a team. But the semi-final is a very important match. We are practicing hard for it. Hopefully we will be able to implement our strategy.’

Shefali said, ‘As a batting unit, we are trusting our strength. The bowlers are also performing well in the nets but continuous improvement is necessary. We are also constantly working hard on fielding.’ Shefali played a blistering innings of 81 runs against Nepal, which is also her highest score in T20 International matches.
