New Delhi. After a long wait, Sri Lanka has announced its team for the Women’s Asia Cup 2024. The host team has been announced two days before the tournament begins. The Women’s Asia Cup is starting on July 19 with the Nepal vs UAE match. On the same day, the teams of India and Pakistan will also face each other.

The next three weeks are going to be great for cricket lovers. During this time, the Women’s Asia Cup will be played in Sri Lanka. Along with this, the men’s teams of India and host Sri Lanka will also clash. Sri Lanka announced the team for the Women’s Asia Cup on Wednesday. It has handed over the command of its team to Chamari Atapattu.

A total of 8 teams are participating in the Women’s Asia Cup. They have been divided into two groups. Women’s Team India has been placed in Group A along with Pakistan, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Nepal. Host Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand and Bangladesh have been placed in Group B.
