India is ready to show its strength in the digital world. On October 8, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Asia’s largest telecom, media and technology event, India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 at Yashobhumi International Convention Center in New Delhi. The event will start at 9:45 am.
IMC 2025 theme: Innovation for change
This year, IMC is being organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DOT) and Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI). The event will run from 8 to 11 October. Its subject is innovation for change, which highlights the importance of digital changes and technological innovation.

IMC 2025 will display the latest innovations in telecommunications and new technology. Global leaders, policy makers, industry experts and neuropathy will participate in it. Major topics include:

IMC 2025 will include more than 1.5 lakh visitors and people from more than 150 countries. In this program, more than 1,600 new use cases including 5G/6G, AI, smart mobility, cyber security, quantum computing and green technology will be displayed. It will have more than 100 sessions and more than 800 speakers.

IMC also emphasizes 2025 international cooperation. This year, delegations from Japan, Canada, UK, Russia, Ireland and Austria will participate in the program. It aims to give India a prominent place on the global technology platform and promote international partnership.
Startup and investment opportunities
This year, the IMC Startup will host the Indian version of the World Cup. Fifteen finalists, young nephews will present their views and compete for investment opportunities up to ₹ 88 crore (about $ 1.8 billion). This platform will showcase India’s technological innovation globally.
