Bahrod. Due to continuous rains, standing crops in the fields have deteriorated, which has increased the concern of farmers. To take stock of the situation, former Bahrod MLA Baljit Yadav reached the fields of rural areas on Tuesday and saw the damaged crops.
The former MLA said that today is the last day of the assembly session, but no discussion was held on the problems of farmers. He demanded the government to conduct a survey of immediately damaged crops and give early compensation to the affected farmers.
Baljeet Yadav said that the farmer is completely dependent on the crop. When the crop is good, the household goes easily, but when the crop is destroyed, the farmer is burdened with debt. In such a situation, the government should provide immediate relief to the farmers, so that their livelihood can be safe.
