Congress News: The Congress party will contest the elections on its own in the teacher and graduate constituencies. Party’s state president Ajay Rai said that this election is not based on symbols, there is no scope for alliance in this election. Congress will field its candidates on all 11 seats in the state and preparations for the elections have been started in full swing. While talking to journalists in the office, State President Ajay Rai has also announced the names of candidates on many seats.
Congress announced these candidates
Sanjay Priyadarshi and graduate candidate Arvind Singh Patel have been fielded as teacher candidates from Varanasi. In the same sequence, the party has nominated Devmani Tiwari from Lucknow, Vikrant Vashishtha from Meerut and Raghuraj Pal from Agra for the graduate seat. He said that the names of candidates for the remaining seats will also be announced soon. Ajay Rai said that Congress is committed to solving the problems of teachers, advocates and youth.
Drug mafias are getting protection
The party has appointed co-ordinators for the elections, the work of filling the forms is being done in every district. State President Ajay Rai made serious allegations against the state government. He said that under the protection of the government, children are being made to die by making them drink substandard syrup. Expressing surprise, he said that drug inspectors are not appointed in 13 districts including Gorakhpur, which can be gauged from the weakness of the monitoring system in the state. He alleged that this entire game is being done to benefit the drug mafia.
BSP benefits BJP
Ajay Rai further said that after a long time BSP remembered Kanshi Ram. He alleged that Dalits were taken to the BSP rally in a BJP vehicle. He called it a conspiracy to confuse Dalits and influence Bihar elections, which will not succeed. He claimed that the Dalit community is with Rahul Gandhi. He questioned the silence of Mayawati and other parties on the issue of Hariom Valmiki in Rae Bareli and said that Congress stands with that family.
Prevented from providing support to family members
He also said that on Friday the police stopped the party delegation from going to provide financial support to Hariom’s family. On this occasion, Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav was remembered by paying tribute on his birth anniversary at the Congress state headquarters. All the senior leaders and workers including the party’s state president Ajay Rai remembered the contribution of Mulayam Singh Yadav in the politics of Uttar Pradesh and paid tribute to his portrait.
