Bihar Election 2025: The list of candidates for Bihar Assembly elections 2025 will not be released today by the NDA alliance. It is being told that there is some disagreement between Bharatiya Janata Party and Janata Dal United regarding seats. Regarding which a meeting is being held again between the leaders. NDA’s joint press conference in Patna, the capital of Bihar, was postponed at the last moment on Monday evening. This joint press conference was to be held this evening at 4 pm.
To discuss seat sharing, a meeting is being held at the residence of Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, BJP leader Dilip Jaiswal and senior JDU leader Sanjay Jha. According to sources, differences of opinion are coming to light on many seats during the meeting. Due to which the joint press conference to be held at 4 pm has been postponed. Talks on seat sharing between the two parties are continuing. It is expected that efforts will be made to reach an agreement on this issue soon.
It is noteworthy that seat sharing has been announced by the NDA alliance regarding Bihar Assembly elections. BJP and JDU will contest elections on 101-101 seats. Whereas Chirag Paswan’s party Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will field its candidates on 29 seats. Whereas Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) will field their candidates on six seats each.
Claim on seats is not the reason for differences
Chirag Paswan of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has definitely got 29 seats as per his wish. But now his party is also laying claim on the seats won, which went to JDU and BJP in the 2020 elections. BJP and JDU are not ready to give up the won seats. In this politics of adjustment, Jitan Ram Manjhi’s HAM has also got only six seats, due to which he too is dissatisfied to some extent. According to sources, to please Chirag Paswan, some seats of Manjhi have been reduced, due to which differences have arisen.
