Tel Aviv, October 13 (). While President Donald Trump was giving a speech, two MPs did something, after which they were forcefully removed. President Trump answered this in a very brilliant manner. He said something which caused thunderous applause in the entire Parliament House and fountains of laughter.
There was a commotion in the live telecast of this entire program. Ayman Odeh, chairman of the Hadash-Ta’al party, was removed from the Knesset plenum after he displayed a placard calling for “recognition of Palestine” during a speech by US President Donald Trump, The Times of Israel reported.
Meanwhile, Arab-Israeli MK MP Ofer Kasif also tried to raise a banner, creating some noise, and was also forcibly removed.
“Sorry about this, Mr. President,” the Israeli parliamentarian told Trump. The US president quipped, “It worked very well,” after which Israeli lawmakers again applauded and chanted ‘Trump’. Trump continued his speech.
Donald Trump then praised US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and the President’s son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner, who brokered the Gaza ceasefire agreement that made the return of the hostages possible.
Started his address with spiritual touch. Praising the bravery of the 20 surviving hostages who returned to their families, Trump said, “Today is a day to give thanks to the Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The skies are calm, the guns are silent, the sirens are silent, and the sun is rising over the Holy Land where there is peace at last.”
Expressed hope that “this region will remain at peace forever.” He said this is not just the end of war, “it is also the end of the era of terror and death and the beginning of the era of faith, hope and God.”
He promised that this was the beginning of an “era of harmony” for Israel and the countries in the region. “This is the historic rise of the new Middle East,” he said.
