Tejpratap Yadav: Janashakti Janata Dal leader and elder son of former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav arrived today to file nomination from Mahua assembly seat. During this time he did something which surprised everyone. Instead of his parents, Tej Pratap reached the nomination center carrying the photograph of his grandmother Marchiya Devi. On this occasion, Tej Pratap Yadav said, “Our parents and grandmother are all with us. Our grandmother is supreme for us and is also our guru. The people of Mahua are calling us, so we are going there. When we have the blessings of grandmother, parents and guru, no challenge can stop us.”
Tej Pratap told that his guru was also present with him during his nomination. He said, “Our grandmother is most important to us, so we have come to file nomination after taking her blessings.”
Road show and crowd of supporters
Before nomination, Tej Pratap Yadav did a road show in Mahua. During this, he did a road show in an open car carrying the picture of his grandmother Marchiya Devi in his hand. Hundreds of supporters were present with him and gave him strong support. This step sent a clear message that Tej Pratap gives great importance to his family and blessings and is contesting the elections by directly connecting with the people of Mahua.
Tej Pratap Yadav again filed nomination from Mahua, promised to open engineering college.
Tej Pratap Yadav became MLA from Mahua seat for the first time in 2015. However, in 2020, he contested and won from Hasanpur assembly seat of Samastipur district. Last month, after parting ways with the party and family, Tej Pratap Yadav filed nomination from Mahua assembly this time on Janashakti Janata Dal ticket. In this election, RJD has made Mukesh Roshan its candidate for Mahua seat. Whereas NDA has fielded Sanjay Singh of Lok Janshakti Party. Apart from this, JDU leader Dr Asma Parveen has filed her nomination as an independent candidate.
Tej Pratap Yadav said that after winning from Mahua last time, he had gifted a medical college here. This time his aim is to open an engineering college. He also said that this time he has come alone to file nomination because “Mahua is our family and grandmother’s blessings are with us.” Tej Pratap expressed confidence that after winning the elections, he will strongly raise the problems of the people of Mahua in the House and raise his voice on every issue.
