Rampur. Troubles are not ending for senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan. Recently Azam Khan was released from jail. Now the MP-MLA court of Rampur has framed charges against Azam Khan in the case of fraud in getting the recognition of the school. Along with Azam Khan, the court also framed charges against his wife Tajin Fatima and the clerk of BSA office in Rampur. Now this matter will be heard in the court on November 10. There are charges of cheating, forgery, use of fake documents and criminal conspiracy against Azam Khan, Tajin Fatima and the clerk.
A case of fraud for obtaining recognition of a private school was registered in the year 2019 against Azam Khan, Tajin Fatima and the BSA office clerk. Azam Khan and wife Tazeen Fatima have been accused of using the Fire Department’s NOC given to another school to get recognition for Rampur Public School. In this case, Babu of BSA office has been accused of being involved in the fraud of Azam Khan and Tajin Fatima. If the court pronounces punishment in this case, then problems may increase for Azam Khan and his wife.
Azam Khan was sent to jail in many cases. Recently, after getting bail, Azam Khan came out of Sitapur jail. Azam Khan is facing allegations of grabbing government land for Jauhar University, stealing library books, stealing two dates of birth of his son Abdullah Azam and even goat theft. Azam Khan says that the allegations against him are wrong and he is being harassed for political reasons. Azam Khan used to be a very powerful minister during the SP government. Azam Khan had got the responsibility of city development in Akhilesh Yadav’s government. Azam Khan was also in the news for his controversial statements. When SP and BSP formed an alliance in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Azam Khan had said in his speech that after winning the elections, he would get Mayawati’s shoes cleaned by the DM of Rampur.
