Nothing phone 3 launched: London based tech company Nothing has launched its flagship smartphone Nothing Phone 3 in India and Global Market. Launched on 1 July 2025, this phone is the company’s most expensive device so far, the initial price of which is ₹ 79,999. Nothing CEO Carl Pai called it a “first true flagship”.
But will Indian consumers trust a new brand like Nothing at this premium price? The Nothing Phone 3 has a 6.67-inch 1.5k AMOLED display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate and 4500 notes peak brightness. The display is protected from Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, which gives great performance for gaming and multitasking.
Nothing’s most expensive flagship phone, with glyph matrix design
The camera setup includes triple 50MP rear cameras (Main, Ultra-Wide, and 3x periscope telephoto) and 50MP front camera. The phone has a 5500mAh battery, which supports 65W wired and 15W wireless charging.
This time Nothing has replaced its signature glyph lights from Glyph Matrix, which gives new features such as notifications and camera countdown with 26 individual LED zones.
Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, 6.67-Inch AMOLED Display, 5-year OS updates
The phone runs on Android 15 based on Nothing OS 3.5, which promises 5 years of Android updates and 7 -year security updates. It supports dual SIM (1 Nano SIM + ESIM) and is equipped with features like in-display fingerprint sensor, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC.
Available on Flipkart, Vijay Sales, Croma from July 15
Nothing Phone 3 is available in two variants: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage (₹ 79,999) and 16GB RAM + 256GB storage (₹ 89,999). It will be available in Black and White color options from Flipkart, Flipkart Minutes, Vijay Sles, Croma, and other retail stores from July 15.
Under the launch offer, an exchange discount of ₹ 3,000 and 12 months no-cost EMI is available with selected banks (HDFC, IDFC, OneCard).
However, the price of ₹ 79,999 is much higher than the Nothing Phone 2 (₹ 44,999), which will compete with phones like Google Pixel 9A and iPhone 16E. Will Nothing’s AI-integrated interface and unique design be able to attract users at this price, it remains to be seen.
