But now the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is making a big change in these rules since June. The applicant will now be given the option to give a driving test by going to his nearby center instead of RTO office. That is, now there will be no need to take the exam in RTO to get a driving license. The government will now allow private institutions to issue certificates, which will be able to conduct the driving test. The special thing is that now a more strict penalty is being imposed on driving without a valid license. Doing so can now take a fine from 1000 to 2000 than before.
