Congress leader Rahul Gandhi congratulated Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on his birthday on Sunday, saying “we will ensure change, employment, equality and progress for the people of Bihar”.
Yadav, the Chief Ministerial candidate from the Grand Alliance, turned 36 on Sunday.
Gandhi wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “Happy birthday to Tejashwi Yadav.” You stay happy, stay healthy – we will definitely provide change, employment, equality and progress to the people of Bihar.
Gandhi also shared a photo of herself and Yadav riding a motorcycle during the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ in Bihar in August.
Voting is being held in two phases in Bihar. Voting was held in the first phase on November 6 and the second phase will be held on November 11. The results will be declared on 14 November.
The opposition alliance ‘India’ (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) has declared Yadav as its chief ministerial candidate. RJD, Congress and Left parties are the main components in this alliance.
