The historic Gandhi Maidan of Bihar was once again seen making history. Nitish Kumar created a new record by taking oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 10th time at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna. After the spectacular victory of NDA in Bihar Assembly elections, the swearing in ceremony took place in a very special way. Governor Mohammad Arif Khan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Nitish Kumar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present and congratulated Nitish Kumar on becoming the Chief Minister.

With this, the new NDA government officially came into existence. A big stage was set up at Gandhi Maidan, where thousands of workers, leaders and common people witnessed this historic moment. After Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar Cabinet ministers also took oath. The Governor administered the oath of office to 26 members including Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Sinha, Vijay Chaudhary and Mangal Pandey. All NDA constituents—JDU, BJP, LJP (Ram Vilas), HAM, and RLM—have been given representation. Special attention has been paid to this cabinet, which has a mix of experience and young leadership.
