New Delhi . Russian President Vladimir Putin is arriving on a two-day visit to India on Thursday. There is enthusiasm among BJP leaders about Putin’s visit to India. He described this visit as important for India. BJP MP Kamaljit Sehrawat said, “It is a very good thing that Russian President Vladimir Putin is coming to India. Relations between India and Russia have always been good. Putin is coming with a big delegation, which includes a cabinet minister and about 75 businessmen. This shows that many important agreements related to trade and technology are going to be signed with India. His visit will be in the interest of India. In today’s time, we are moving from a developing to a developed country.” BJP MP Shashank Mani said, “This is a very auspicious occasion. India has had a long-standing relationship with Russia, and we have shared many friendships over the years. Just as we work together in the field of defence, we work together in many other areas as well. During the Ukraine war, when many countries opposed Russia, India stood with them. Similarly, Russia has also stood with us for many years. We are both strong republics, and we work together. By doing this we can move forward and promote peace in the world.”
BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said, “Our friends are coming from Moscow. There is a personal friendship between President Putin and Prime Minister Modi. That also has its benefits. Russia has supported us at every turn. We are ready with open eyes for them. Many important meetings are going to take place. We all are waiting for good news to come.”
Bihar Government Minister Dilip Jaiswal said, “The relationship between India and Russia is very old. Russia has always supported India. We hope that with the visit of Russian President Putin to India, the relations between the two countries will become stronger.”
