Murshidabad, December 4 (IANS). Trinamool Congress (TMC) has suspended Humayun Kabir, who had announced to build Babri Masjid in Murshidabad. On this, Humayun Kabir announced to contest the elections by forming a separate party and made a scathing attack on CM Mamata Banerjee.
Humayun Kabir said while talking to journalists that I have shown the place of the mosque. Now there is no need to tell how much land is there. We have talked about laying the foundation, we will do it. We will build an Islamic hospital, Musafirkhana, hotel, helipad, park, medical college. Give us some time, we will make all this work. I am challenging who will stop me.
On the allegation of Mamata Banerjee working for the RSS, he said that when Mamata Banerjee became the CM in 2011, there were less than 500 RSS volunteers in the state, but after being the CM for 14 years, there are more than 12,000 volunteers in West Bengal. This only shows who she is working for.
He said who built Jagannath temple by spending money from government funds? He is the one who got it built. Land worth Rs 1,100 crore was given to build the temple. In such a situation, if I am building a mosque then why are they angry?
He said what did the government and its ministers do for Muslims? How many people were given jobs? We should come forward and say this. They will have to answer. Regarding the vote percentage after leaving TMC, he said that what will happen in the elections and what will not happen will be known in the coming time.
Attacking Mamata Banerjee, he also said that Mamata Banerjee will not become CM in the year 2026. She will become ex-CM. She will not be able to take oath.
Let us tell you that Humayun Kabir has announced to build a mosque in Murshidabad. He named this mosque Babri Masjid. He says that we are going to lay the foundation of this mosque on 6th December. Controversy has arisen regarding this and Hindu organizations have warned about this.
